Core ValuesFounded by the late Frama Abraham, GOCI has grown from a single mission station in 1998 to mission fields across 10 Nigerian states. We employ cross-cultural strategies to bring the gospel to unreached communities.
Frama Abraham was a very renown missionary who had the passion for souls and began evangelism and church planting as a young university student. He founded GOCI in 1996 after planting churches in Borno, Bauchi and Plateau States.
He was also a very impactful member of the Nigerian Baptist Convention who served in various capacities. A man of God—humble, prayerful, truthful, and passionate for souls.
He was murdered by Muslims in a crisis while returning from a missionary awareness programme in 2018. His life of sacrifice and dedication continues to be the bedrock of Global Outreach for Christ International.
Global Outreach for Christ International is a faith-based Christian religious organization and non-profit agency founded in 1996 in the heart of the middle belt region of Nigeria, Jos, Plateau State. Founded by Late Frama Abraham with deep passion of taking the gospel to unreached people groups without missionary intervention among them, GOCI is a cross-cultural mission agency that employs every possible strategy to reach the unreached with the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The ministry has many Mission Stations in 10 mission fields with serving missionary families and members from different ethnic groups located in the rural communities and villages of Taraba, Adamawa, Bauchi, Kano, Zamfara, Niger, Kebbi, and Kwara states in Nigeria. The ministry operates the Missionary Training Institute (MTI) in Jos, Plateau State, the Global Outreach Bible Institute (GOBI) in Jirem, Taraba State, and the Bible School in Gulbedu, Niger State, alongside Living Seed Primary Schools located in Kebbi, Kano, Jibawa, and Jirem (3 schools).
